CEO and Founder

Otakar Šuffner is the co-founder and CEO of the FTMO prop-trading platform. He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague with a degree in banking and insurance. As a passionate trader, he founded FTMO in 2015 together with his friend and fellow classmate Marek Vašíček. After years of hard work, the company has emerged as the first Forex trading platform of its kind in the world. As CEO, Otakar now sets the direction for the entire company, coming up with new ideas and ambitious projects that go beyond the platform’s trading model. Prior to FTMO, he worked at Raiffeisenbank and tested applications at the consulting company Accenture.
